Bob has spent his entire career in the communications business. Fresh out of Northwestern University with a masters degree in journalism, he joined Marsteller Inc. in Chicago. During his 10 years in the Chicago office, he served as a copy contact writer and became an Associate Creative Director, working on a variety of consumer and business-to-business clients.
Bob also spent five years in Marsteller's New York Office, managing the Financial/Corporate/Business-To-Business Group.
The Brouillard Corporate Communications Division of J. Walter Thompson was the next stop in Bob's career. As Senior Vice President, he worked for such clients as Bank of New York, Chase Bank, Goldman Sachs, Municipal Bond Investors Assurance, Société Générale, PNC Bank Mutual Funds and Textron Corporation.
After Brouillard, he started his own communications consulting firm specializing in corporate/business-to-business communications and, a year later, merged it into what is now French/Blitzer/Scott.
Outside the office, Bob is Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board of the Maxwell Institute of St. Vincent’s Westchester, a drug and alcohol treatment and rehabilitation center in Tuckahoe, NY; and a member of the advisory boards of Corporate Angel Network, a non-profit organization that arranges passage for cancer patients on corporate aircraft; the Friends of the Bronxville, NY Public Library; and the Bronxville Historical Conservancy.
